Compliance

What has to be true before a stay.

This page is a checklist for the pilot, not a certificate and not a legal opinion. No approval is claimed.

Have a structural engineer, a fire consultant, and local counsel read the real drawings before anyone treats this text as permission to build.

Structure

The shell is designed by licensed structural professionals. Cuts, openings, and lifting points are part of that design. Nobody drills a door into a pipe on site and calls it finished.

Fire and egress

A single way out has to be obvious, unobstructed, and wide enough to leave in a hurry. Smoke detection, a fire extinguisher, and emergency lighting are part of the equipment list, not extras.

Codes

The National Building Code of India applies. IS 15916:2020 is the reference for prefabricated concrete buildings where the shell is treated as prefabricated concrete. Local Ahmedabad permissions, fire review, and any labour or factory rules for worker housing are separate and not yet sought.

Electricity and cooling

Distribution board, earthing, and an RCCB. An inverter split around 0.8–1 tonne only after a heat-load calculation. A fan and a bathroom exhaust. Ahmedabad heat is not a place to guess.

Water and wastewater

Potable water in, a trapped waste out, and a plan for who empties or connects it. A pod without drainage is not a bathroom.

Maintenance

A ticket in the dashboard is how a guest reports a fault. During the pilot there is no published repair time.

Booking and access

A code is time-limited and tied to one reservation. It expires at the end of the slot. It is not a master key, and today it does not open a physical door.
